Paradoxically, the Porsche 928 is still considered an atypical model of the brand. Well, of course, there is no cheerful rattle of air cooling in the rear overhang. And yet, the car was produced for eighteen years without significant changes. But it never became a replacement for the 911. In the case of the 928, we were talking about a luxury GT sports car that was supposed to pamper mainly American buyers. The coupe became the largest Porsche model of that time: length - 4.45 m, width - 1.84 m, and height - 1.31 m. Its design, even after 40 years, divides people into opposing camps. Some admire its clean lines, ahead of its time, others - the opposite.
