Turbo insert #33 features a sleek, bright red coupe with pop-up headlights. Do you think Ferrari? No, this is an American 1985 Pontiac Fiero. We're used to the traditional American sports car being front-engined and with a big V8 under the hood. Pontiac Fiero is not like that, it is one of the few mid-engine American cars of the 80s, produced by the Pontiac division of General Motors from 1984 to 1988. The Pontiac Fiero was the first mid-engine sports car to be mass-produced in the United States. In just five years of production, 370,168 cars were produced.
