This little car has earned its place on the Turbo list not due to any exclusivity, but due to its mass availability and accessibility. Toyota Starlet is a small hatch with optimal fuel consumption, produced in 1978-1979. The history of this small car goes back four generations. The first generation of the model was a sports one with rear-wheel drive, and on the second (it is the one shown in the picture) a more suitable front-wheel drive car of this class was used. Despite this, the sporty spirit of the hatch was retained by developing a turbocharged version. Another difference of the new product was more modern engines with injection and increased volume.
