In the midst of the harsh, sun-scorched sands of Oasys lies a treasured source of escape for the desperate souls who inhabit this world: the floating Miragesoul pods, containing the keys to access other worlds, both virtual and real. War and natural sandstorms have left only a few pods functional, though, and with no way to build more, they are fiercely contested. The struggle for control of the pods has made the select few with control them wealthy and dangerous. Those who dare to venture out alone in search of a pod may find salvation, or fall prey to the unforgiving conditions of this desolate place.
