The unseen guardians of flora and fauna are often harbingers of doom to those full of malice for the ones in their protection. Once long ago, they were familiars for Babaylans and other adventurers. Nowadays, these once glorious Engkantos are more seen as reluctant soldiers to higher causes they genuinely believe in but would rather not partake in and participate in if they had the choice.
